Hi, I am Maria Simonetti, founder of Step It Up Coaching, a coaching practice in The Netherlands. I was born and raised in New York, mother of two, a daughter, a friend, entrepreneur, and coach. After working for over 10 years in Wall Street’s corporate arena for various investment banking firms, I relocated to The Netherlands. It was a move that came with many challenges. With these challenges, came shifts, and pattern overhauls. I reached a point in my life that ‘something wasn’t right’ for me. It’s scary to realize this and then not know what to do next.
Mission
Turning within and understanding the importance of developing a relationship with yourself is the key to finding and walking our path. My mission is to create an inspiring sounding board to reach that understanding and help you unleash your most significant potential and own who you are. You have to be willing to challenge yourself and, most all, willing to march to your beat. Often, that makes people uncomfortable. Learning to be true to yourself is one of the foundation blocks of real success.
Methodology
To give you an idea of our coaching, we offer you a free 30 minutes intake session. During this session, we can become better acquainted, and you will be able to ask any questions. Should you decide that you would like to move forward with us, we will make a proposal and set up a commission structure. My coaching sessions are highly personalized. Depending on your challenge and goals, we create a coaching plan that involves sessions from 90-120 minutes for specified weeks.
Motivation
I have been interested in people and what makes them tick for as long as I can remember. People, and particularly people with backgrounds different than mine, have always intrigued and inspired me. It stems from my early years when I owned my own travel company. I traveled worldwide and was driven to share and exchange experiences with folks from all different cultures. I always love to connect and embrace our differences.
